Vesuvius began from an idea and a shared passion. Gianluca Pellegrino, the mind and heart of the project, wanted to bring the soul of Campanian tradition to Switzerland with a modern approach focused on quality. At his side, the master pizza chef Giuseppe Folgore, who grew up in the Caserta area and has been devoted to pizza since a young age. Each of his doughs is the fruit of experience, memory, and respect for raw materials.
In 2022, from a small location inside a petrol station in Sugiez, a story of commitment and vision began. Today, Vesuvius is present in Praz and Neuchâtel, inside the Casino, yet it remains faithful to the same spirit: artisanal care, warm hospitality, and authentic passion.
Vesuvius is more than a place: it’s a sincere way to tell the story of Italy through taste, identity, and sharing.
